Heather J. Ives is thrilled, excited, elated, happy, grateful, ecstatic and all other synonyms to be able to direct these fools! Heather’s previous directing credits include “Proof” for OCTA and “No Exit” for Ad Astra Theatre Ensemble. They have previously been seen on stage for Bell Road Barn in “Kate Hamill’s Pride & Prejudice” “Dead Man’s Cellphone” and “Men on Boats”. If you enjoy your time in our village, spread the word to your friends and family. Or come back again to support local theatre! My thanks to my wonderful cast and crew for working so thoughtfully to produce something so stupid.
Welcome to Kulyenchikov! Enjoy the show!
Erin is happy to be back at Bell Road Barn and working with such a talented cast and crew. Previous stage managing gigs at BRB include “An Ideal Husband”, “The 39 Steps”, “The Foreigner”, and “Men on Boats”. Shout out to Wesley for being awesome. Enjoy the show!

Hilary is thrilled to be making her debut as an Assistant Stage Manager. While this is not her first production with Bell Road Barn players (Lady Chiltern “An Ideal Husband” 2024), she is excited to contribute her skills to a successful and seamless production and to expand her technical theatrical skills.
Doug is excited to be back on the Bell Road Barn stage. Some past Bell Road productions include “Laughter on the 23rd Floor”, “Boys Next Door”, & “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”. Doug has been doing theater in Kansas City for the last 25+ years. Productions include “Angels in America Part 1 & 2”, “Frost/Nixon”, “Spring Awakening”, “Fairview” & many more. Doug sends a special thanks to his wife Sarah for her support. Come see him in “Death of a Salesman” this December at the KC Melting Pot Theatre.
Corey Perkins debuts with the Bell Road Barn Players in the role of Snetsky. A Theatre Graduate of Washburn University in Topeka, Corey has previously performed in several shows such as, “Into the Woods”, “Psycho Beach Party”, and “The Language Archive”.
Corey would like to dedicate his performance in this show to his family, friends, and his partner Adrian.
Three years of evening work have kept Dean away from community theatre and he thanks this company of “Fools” for welcoming him back to the Bell Road Boards. He thanks his wife & cat (for whom he is his emotional support human) for their understanding of his love of working on projects that bring together and entertain the patrons of local theatre.
And in conclusion, to quote the Bard,
“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”
David Boncyk is an actor & improviser from Colorado. He is very happy to return to Bell Road Barn for this show! You may have seen him before on this stage in “The Bad Seed” and during the Christmas Variety show a few years back. He has also been seen in “A Curious Savage” at OCTA and, most recently, in “Book of Days” with the MET. David would like to thank his partner for encouraging and supporting him.
Josh is an Air Force veteran who has performed on stages around the world. Most recently playing the Constable in Corbin Theater’s production of “Fiddler on the Roof”. Josh is so grateful for this opportunity to once again appear on the Bell Road stage
having last appeared on stage with Bell Road as Reginald Tasker in “The Bad Seed”.
Alecia is ecstatic to make her Bell Road Barn debut. Favorite roles include Diana – “Next to Normal” (STG), Donna – “Mamma Mia” (STG) and Str Robert Ann – “Nunsense” (CTI) and “Nuncrackers” (LSC). Alecia keeps busy doing a myriad of things that pertain to management and organizational logistics while still finding time to bake specialty cupcakes. She continues the acting gig as a Jedi Master with the Star Wars costuming groups teaching the ways of the Force to younglings across the country.
Thanks to her husband Richard for holding down the fort at home & to children Xander and Val for their long distance love and support.
Rich is thrilled to return to the Bell Road Barn Players’ stage! He recently performed as John D’Agata in the Little Theatre of Weston’s “The Lifespan of a Fact”. Last year he made his BRBP debut as Lord Caversham in “An Ideal Husband” and followed with roles as Juror #9 in the Corbin Theatre Company’s “12 Angry Jurors”, & Jacob Marley/First Man in Theatre Atchison’s “A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play”. Rich is excited to be reunited with Heather J. Ives, Erin, Hilary, Faith, and Josh! He thanks Beth for her loving support of his acting passion.

She graduated from William Jewell College with a degree in musical theatre and business administration in 2023, and now proudly works at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts as their volunteer services specialist.
